Shanghai Metals & Minerals has been in the world marketplace for more than 57 years. We started as a trading firm dedicated to international business. Through the years, the company has successfully grown up to become a multifunctional enterprise comprising processing & manufacturing, research & designing, export & import, logistics & transportation etc.

Among a wide category of our products, we are most active in ferrous & nonferrous metals, building material & hardware, metal products & minerals etc. In 2006, our international business turnover reached $800 million annually, ranking among the 200 top enterprises in China.

In 2000, our quality control system was approved by the ISO9001:2000 standard. The rapid growth of the corporation has won for us such a prominent position in the industry that we are among the standing member of council in both the China Chamber of Commerce of Machinery & Electronic Products Importers & Exporters & China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters. A high percentage of our export is based on minerals,ferrous & nonferrous metals, building hardware, fasteners, iron wire nails and wires, steel wire ropes, castings and forging, machinery products etc. Metal products exported with our highly reputed "Diamond" brand and "Anchor" brand represent high quality and best service in the market.

We have also advantage in export of certain non-metallic minerals such as fluorspar; Ferro alloy, rare metal and precious metal etc. Raw materrials import and vessel demolition form a large part of our business volume.
